June 3 - Teddy Roosevelt and the “No Race Suicide” Movement

                 by Pam Jensen

In the early 1900's, concerns regarding declining birth rates raised fears about the social and economic balance among racial and ethnic groups worldwide. Teddy Roosevelt's involvement made the topic both a national and a local issue.

June 1 - “The White Castle Story” - presented by Jamie Richardson

According to White Castle founder, Billy Ingram, the White Castle story is "the story of developing the hamburger sandwich into its modern, tasty form." We'll learn much more about White Castle history from our local resident and company Vice President, Jamie Richardson, whose responsibilities for government affairs and public relations often result in appearances on major television network news and business programs.

Jamie promises some "fun surprises" for all who attend his entertaining program.
